2012 Ranger 500 EFI
Hi folks. New to this group. Need to replace the stator on my 2012 Ranger 500 EFI. Shop manual says can be done without pulling engine, but finding it difficult to remove flywheel. No room for impact wrench & can't seem to get sufficient leverage to stop flywheel from moving when I try to remove nut with socket & breaker bar. Suggestions? Also, can you use a regular gear puller to remove flywheel, or will that damage the teeth? Manual lists a special tool, which I do not have. Thanks.
