I have a couple questions regarding the 570 I am working on. I have determined that the spacing on the valves is:
Exh Valve 1: .015"
Exh Valve 2: .009"
Intake Valve 1: .008"
Intake Valve 2: .006"

First question- Are these measurements enough to cause problems? It is hard to start and seems to have timing issues. From what I have read, it sounds like optimal is .006", but these are welded buckets, so I am not sure how to determine the size of buckets I need to order to correct this issue.
Second Question- are there aftermarket buckets and shims that I can install to get around the welded bucket measurement problems?

Thanks for the help!
