My 2014 Ranger (full size) is making a thumping noise that I can feel when taking off from a dead start. Mainly in one wheel drive. If I switch to 2 or 4 wheel drive I don't notice it. Once I start rolling it seems fine. But something isn't right. Any ideas?

You might have a broken turf mode. If it is broken you should have heard clunks and felt it jerk when you make a turn. If it is broken you need to not drive it until it is repaired.
Jack up the rear with the tires off the ground, start it and put it in turf mode and in gear and let it idle, don't give it any gas, and then turn one of the rear wheels by hand and see if it both rear wheels turn freely in opposite directions without binding up and listen for clanking noises.
