I found a 2016 with 25 miles on it. Reading through the Forum I've been unable to narrow down if the transmission has been fixed on the 2016? They are offering me a great deal on it and I'm reluctant to pull the trigger. The machine is in mint condition, and I know a diesel is a workhorse.

I'm mainly going to use it to plow snow and work around my property. Should I buy it? Or get a gas model? I'm a fng on here, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I wish I could help you. I've never owned or rode in a diesel Ranger. We have two Kubota diesel SxS on the farm and I can tell you this, that they are some workhorses. My only complaint with them is that they are slow and if you want something that you can go trail riding with / more of a fun vehicle at sometimes than the diesel is probably not for you.
