I was looking for the wires to plug in a back up light to but can't find them. I did however find this unused plug that did not have power with key on or off. Just curious what it is too and where else I might look to find the wires I need. New to owning a ranger had it for all of a few weeks.

Did you test it with the key on and in reverse?

I tested with key on as the hot wire is always supposed to be hot from my understanding. I will try to test in reverse now that I have my wife home to help.
