The speedo healer is certainly an option. When you run tires remove the device and go back to factory setup. I didnt use it because i didn’t want the extra hardware hanging out back there.
Here are the terminals that are needed for the cluster connector to fire up the t/s indicators. Not sure if you could find a pre-terminated harness or not if you are going to setup your own signals. The pins may be found at a local GM dealer too in their tray of pins they should have. Otherwise WD electronics has a plug and play setup with a few options. Nice setup from what it looks like but it comes at a cost…just like our machines lol. I just installed their lever and replaced the toggle switch for signals i set up myself. Wished I had seen it a couple of years ago when i set mine up initially. The lever sits perfectly for activation with your left hand.
As for the backup alarm there should be a 2 pin connector in the driver’s side rear with a cover over it. There are lots of discussions here about backup lights. Its kind of skies the limit with what you want to do. It can come on anytime the reverse lights are on or switch it on and off with an external switch or even both. I would recommend a relay no matter your decision.
