hi

the electrical wiring diagram shows a white wire going to pin 5 of the vehicle controll
module saying it is going to the lower contact of the ACS relay via the
chassis harness.

i cannot find this relay on the other diagrams.

does anyone know what (where ) this relay is?

There is a 20 amp fan relay in a harness in the battery area. It is always hot going to it.

did a search in the diagrams again last night and traced the white wire.

it apears that it goes to the charge indicator.

it is a controlled negative/ground because the other contact
of the indicator is wired to +12V

that would make sense because the bars of tge indicator are controlled by some
'magic procedure' inside the VCIM not even Polaris might have knowledge
of and cannot tell about therefore :)

and also ACS may stand for 'Advanved Charge System' or something the like

but there is nothing to find about this acronym in the service manual
diagrams.
