// Hello David, I'm getting ready to do some wiring on a '21 Ranger xp 1000 Northstar - I assumed that reverse light was triggered by ground and was planning on a relay that I would use to do the same, the 2-wire plug is at the end of left frame rail - there is also another plug center rear that can be used for a beeper I believe ? I always use diode protection relays to protect sensitive electronics - I would appreciate contact information - as I layout my set- up, I'll be removing someone else's (hack) then install front floods / f&r turn signals / reverse replacement, along with other parts - best to reach you @ name you gave above ? Thanks Dan !

21 Northstar ..is the center factory plug turn on rear backup light with after market Sautvs rear bumper when you put gear in reverse or do you
have to use the left plug in.
Left plug works reverse, center is for beeper ! I didn't get to mine, I got it from a guy who wired the light to the left plug but didn't run it thru a relay, that will leave the light on very dim even after turning the key off for a minute or so - run power to a relay from the left plug, don't just plug light in there - look online and see the kit !

-- if you wire the relay yourself, you can buy the connector plugs, get a relay with a diode built in to protect your computer and other electronics from any damage from back feeding power - Good Luck, do it right the first time ✌🏻

this was a super easy relay kit to install. Works perfectly . And looks like it was installed from the factory. And use all waterproof connectors and relay

Two wire plug at end of left frame rail is for the back up light (of course light instructions from lighted bumper co said center plug) so I get that..and end of left rail has a actual plug for the back up light that come on when you put in reverse,
and bosch std relay goes between plug and bumper light and I get that. Question is, center plug where do you buy the beeper and assume you split the wires..coming out of left and center plugs. Am I close..
