Battery Disconnect Switch
I’m thinking about installing a battery disconnect switch on our 21 NorthStar crew, so when I change oil I don’t have to worry about the remote start being activated. Just wanted something a little easier than having to disconnect the cable from the battery all the time. Has anyone install one on their machine?

Did you come up with a battery 🔋🪫 disconnect of any type or brand?
One of the easiest options, but in OP's case I'd probably opt for a normal rocker and use it as a kill switch for power to just the remote start.

That’s the same one that I purchased (for another job) about a year ago. From what I remember it’s going to be easiest if I connect it to the negative wire coming off the battery. Another summer project!
That switch looks good. I believe having a master disconnect is a really good safety idea. Just in case of an electrical fire caused by a shorted anything, especially a winch relay contact. I would imagine its very possible for the winch relay contacts to get welded together and your cant turn the darn thing off except to scramble to the battery compartment, find the tools to pull the post connector before the fire starts.
