I bought a 2009 ranger xp about six weeks ago. The check engine light has been on since I got it home. The code is a 22 which points to a tps sensor. Is it hard to adjust, and how do you do it?
All you need is a multimeter and back probe the yellow wire on the tps it should be .660 just turn the key on you don't need it to b running had the same problem with mine once its set you might have to unhook the batt and reset the system
I have an 09 xp I set mine at .660 and mine idles at 1080 but I had to unhook the neg on th batt for a few sec and the check engine light went off
