Considering a Ranger 570 and Need Opinions

Hi - just joined the forum as I'm considering buying a 570 Ranger. I currently have a 2016 Sportsman 570 with tracks and all I use the machine for is ice fishing. The same would be true for the Ranger. I'm very happy with the Sportsman but think it's time to get out of the winter elements. Anybody running tracks on their 570 Ranger and have regrets regarding power? I haven't noticed that many 570's on the ice. I know the tracks are custom made for each particular unit so I would think it would be fine but have to ask. Any other tips for a new Ranger open are always appreciated.

The only potential downsides I see are 1) the 570 ranger is newer and there aren't as many aftermarket accessory options as the 1000 and 2) the weight increase going from atv to utv

Could you name just a few of the accessories you're referring to please? Thx

I did a quick search and it appears the 570 doesn't come with power steering? With tracks on the unit I would definitely want power steering.

My 2016 570 midsize has power steering!

Just generally, for vehicle specific type accessories such as windows, enclosures, a-arms, etc. there are fewer options in the midsize 570 line than the full size 1000 line. And maybe @SuperATV can confirm, but I believe there was a recent change to the midsize 570 line so the options might be fewer still on some things.

We make a lot of goodies for the Mid 570 models. And we make a power steering kit for all the 570 models.

First, what year is it? The newer 570 is called the SP model. The older one ended at 2021 and hasn't changed since 2015.

I don't own one yet, I'm just doing some research to try to figure out what to buy. Thanks for the replies.
