I recently purchased an ecoxgear audio speaker to mount and hook up on my ranger 570 midsize. It comes with wiring that goes to batter directly to the speaker but I want to install a toggle switch in the dash to use as well. How do I connect the toggle switch into the speaker wiring and not just run direct from batter to speaker?

I just installed a Boss Riot system in my 570 Mid and added a toggle switch between the battery and the power to the Riot bar. Iv'e never heard of going from the battery to the speaker--so confused about that.
