Hi,
I'm thinking about going electric, had a 3 cylinder diesel for a couple of years, great on fuel but slow and I had to wear ear defenders when driving it!!
So, I think my next side by side will be electric but the 25mph max speed of the Ranger EV puts me off, and the Ranger XP Kinetic isn't available in the UK yet, and I'm also guessing it won't be cheap (£25-30,000?).
Is there any way of increasing the top speed of the Ranger EV or will I have to wait and pay out big time on the new Ranger Kinetic?

Don’t these utilize speed controllers like golf carts? I’d say try an aftermarket programmable speed controller. (Look on John Deere eGator forums for discussion) Also, you could throw more batteries at it, higher voltage would likely yield higher speed, but truthfully I’m not sure I’d want to go much over 30…if you flip it you’re toast.
