Hi All,

I just bought an 2009 700xp and the fuel gauge doesn't work. It just blinks and reads empty. I read on here somewhere that folks have had success wiring a carb float to the existing float. I plan to try this but I want to know if I have to worry about anything when I remove the fuel pump. Do I have to do anything like re-prime the pump after I remove it or anything like that? Any pointers for this project would be greatly appreciated.
