Have you looked at the old Jeep (CJ2A and CJ3B) style electric wipers? They may work/

eBay sells street rod wiper kits as low $45 but I found this wiper motor that looks compact, easy to install, and comes with a variety of shaft lengths... I have a hard coat poly windshield and have been thinking about something like this for snow plowing which would easily come out when I swap in the half windshield I have for warm weather riding.
