I have an 03 ranger 6x6. I broke a wheel joint on the middle axle and it destroyed the yolk on the shaft. I cannot get the axle off it has a locking mechanism on the axle shaft to keep it splined but I cannot figure what kind it is or how to get it off. (Also would love for someone to point me in a direction to find middle axles for my rig) thanks

looks like a roll pin similar to RZRs. If it is a 1/4" punch should drive it out. Or the preferred method a 1/4" air hammer bit.

Yeah, I'm gonna say roll pin or set screw.

Try to find a parts list graphic, OP, should be easy to figure it out from there. Right now I'd probably start by dropping some penetrating oil on it, can't hurt to start that while you do some research.

It had what appeared to be a roll pin with a smaller roll pin inside of the big one. Thanks for all the help y'all. BTW it broke coming out and it didn't want to come out AT ALL. Massive pain.
