Hello Forum, I have had fun in this 900 XP almost have went 400 miles riding since i bought it. All of a sudden the steering makes a loud rubber to rubber rubbing noise when i turn the wheel. I am guessing that it needs grease in the boot maybe. I am confused as in if it is my CV or from the steering It is possible it could be something else. I have a video with the sound and if anyone could chime in on what it is or could be would be a huge help. Rubbing sound from steering

Thank you

Sounds like dry metal on metal to me. Possibly ball joints.

Have someone turn the wheel and cup the ball joints with your hands and see if the sound changes. Or Jack the front off the ground and try to pinpoint it. Might not be as noisy with it in the air and easier to find.
