You installed total of 6 kw. You still have less. I installed 4 sets of Full River DC-150ah AGM and the range has been great. Voltronixs smallest kit is 8 kW. Your just throwing money away trying to hope something works out
Just installed Lithium Ion batteries
I have a 2011 Polaris and use it infrequently, in 2016 I bought 8 155am AGM batteries, when they were new, I got maybe 10 miles range and in about 30 months, they died completely.
I just put in four 1.5 KW Plug and play batteries from bigbattery.com they are amazing. Not sure how many miles, gut was able to go for 3 hours on the time clock over a 1 week period on one charge. (probably at least 35- 40 miles and The OEM charger works, just have to unplug it when batteries are fully charged as it is not good to trickle charge them.
The battery gauge is not accurate, but o big deal.
I also bought a 60 amp 48 to 12 volt converter to run my 12 volt winch which I have not installed yet.
The cost was less than I paid for the AGM,,about $2600.
I am one happy owner,

Thanks for sharing. For what I use it for, I could not be happier, easy install, no maintenance and more range than I have ever had with lead acid or AGMYou installed total of 6 kw. I went through the bigbattery.com site - I didn't fine anything when searching for 1.5KW or Plug and Play. Hey boiler, I ended up changing both orders to the 14kw packs. Can’t wait to get the first kit installed just to see how it does. Going to be like a kid with new toys.

From the BigBattery.com website; "We’re proud to be the largest supplier of surplus and recertified batteries in the US." These seem to be designed for solar systems as stationary units; I like the repurposed use but for the price I think new is more of a value.
Reading of s many guys grabbing these unknown units and trying to make them work in the EV and having no support when something doesn’t go right. I learned my lesson with Allied couple years ago. Sticking with proven performance and tech support from Voltronixs

I'll keep this on file as an option. They don't quite fit into the spaces on my battery tray.

just used bungee straps with 2 x 4 between batteries, leaves enough room for the smart charger, seems to work fine, but something more secure would probably be better.
you can use the OEM charger, but you have to watch it and unplug when it is fully charged, the batteries do not last if you charge them continuously, unless you have a smart charger.

My kit is coming with a charger so I'll plan on using that. Did you hook up straight to the large relay/solenoid behind the controller? And did you hook the charger up to the same connection?

I read somewhere that the system needs an extra 12v battery. I take it yours is working fine without it?
Mine has a 12 winch that requires a 12 battery, but is not necessary for driving. I purchased a 48 volt to 12 converter to run the winch so I will not need a 12 volt batteryThanks.
