Hey, I just bought a used (2K miles) 2007 Ranger 6x6 and was totally surprised / stunned, by the amount of engine noise in the cab while running down the road and wondering if there is some solution such as hanging a dampening sheet (?) behind access panel. Also did notice there wasn't any sound proofing glued to engine compartment right behind driver's leg's, any ideas???

Yes. It’s quieter without the doors. Did you drive it before you bought it?

Remember these aren’t modern cars or trucks. I’d say mid 70’s at best.

No I did not drive, just went off the reviews. Embarrassed to admit that. Shocked at the noise and very disappointed. Thanks for your response
