I was riding yesterday and was run off the road by an oncoming vehicle. When I ran off the road I hit a concrete culvert head wall square in the front end. This was at about 35 to 40 mph. Came to abrupt stop cratered the front end. I'm sure the frames bent and the radiator is destroyed. When I hit the engine died when I started it back up to limp it home the motor now has a knock.. any reason the motor would be knocking after being hit in the front end???

I like how you think H3!

If its a non xp which by your name perhaps thats what it is, apply some pressure to the clutch cover up and down in various spots all around the cover. The 1000 non xp has the plastic back half which may have broken loose or plain sagged and it now hitting the primary as the engine spins. Had this happen after installing a Duraclutch on a buddies machine. It didn’t do it right away but after he ran it some it flexed or sagged. Sounded horrible like a motor knock.
