New switch panel!!!

Polaris read my mind! I have been looking for months for a switch panel to go above the mirror for lights. I really didn’t want to spend the $800 on the speaker kit cuz I read reviews by guys on here who said it wasn’t very good. Well look at the new 2023 trail boss. Switch panel with a rear work light. This will make it so much easier for roof mounted lights to plug into roof bus bar and just put the switches up high. This is exactly what I wanted to do. Now just wait for it to come in stock!!

I wasn’t sure what the purpose of that bracket was — I already have the pulse bar installed in the roof. I’m thinking that bracket is for those who don’t? The upper switch panel sits above the mirror at the front. The pulse bar is above the rear window.

I have already installed pod lights above the rear window. I’ve temporarily run the wiring to the roof pulse bar but have been waiting for the switch panel to arrive. When it does I’ll also be running a light bar there as well. I’ll take photos, but I’m using my own wiring harness. Easy to make yourself and a lot cheaper than the Polaris harness.

Just looked again, you’re right. The bracket is for mounting relays, mine doesn’t have it from the factory.

Got it installed today -- straightforward. Bracket goes under the pulse bar, has a few holes for mounting relays/etc.

Switch panel fits nicely, there's a cut out in the headliner to run wires through. It also comes with the knock outs so you don't need to cut holes for switches.

looks real slick! good thinking for a great place to put the garage door opener. What is the bottom position of the first three position switch? I see lightbar and off, just can't read the bottom position.

The lightbar has an optional white or amber daytime running light. The switch is a three position, bottom is DRL, OFF, Lightbar. Nice option to not have the DRL always on.

oh now that's a great idea. I have started using my headlights on our hilly curvey county roads for visibility, and the DRL would be great.

That looks awesome! I just need to order my rear lights, Keep debating... I saw the Polaris work light came available but for $250 I would rather get some rigid pods. Send me a picture of your light set up put back, please and thanks!

I saw that the work light was available, but I agree — not sure it’s worth the money when you can get a couple pod lights. That’s the setup I’m running.

The bumper pods are Auxbeam. The rear pods above the rear window are from a supplier in Canada:

I mounted the same pair on the front bumper because they also sell amber lens covers.

Where did you get the upper light bar mounts ?
Where did you get the upper light bar mounts ?
It’s just an L bracket from the hardware store, they had it in black already. Drilled holes to size.

I’m sure you could also find them on Amazon or even check Custom Automotive Lighting.

Sorry, I misunderstood — was referring to the rear pods.

The lightbar brackets are from Custom Automotive Lighting. The do, in fact, clear the windshield and wiper — despite some concerns I’ve seen mentioned here.

Well finally got it all installed, did rough country pods. Wasn’t happy with Polaris, they could have made the wire harness for crew cab 6” longer, was a real struggle to get enough slack to get the switch in the panel, had to move the bus bar forward to get enough wire.
