Trace State Park between Tupelo and Pontotoc is a great place to ride. Plenty of camping, fishing and a few cabins. Probably about 40 miles or so of trails. $7 a day/vehicle. Helmets required. Rangers are very friendly and appreciative.

If you live in Athens, go from Athens to Tuscumbia and then get on the Natchez Trace south to Tupelo. When you start getting close to Tupelo I think there's a sign for the Trace State Park on Highway 6. Exit the Trace highway and go west towards Pontotoc. Trace State Park is probably 5 or 6 miles outside Tupelo and before you get to Pontotoc. Let me know if you're coming, I'll meet you there.
