First let me start by saying I am not the most mechanicaly savy person on here....so I need help.

I am not sure if any of you remember my Predator that I posted for sale quite some time ago, but I tried to start it today. I have not started it in quite some time. Guess what....it wont start. It ran perfectly when I last rode it.
I can get the engine to fire, but it dies immediately. I have tried it with choke/half choke/no choke/quarter choke :2funny: and it just won't run. It seems like it is starving for gas or something, but it is obviously getting some gas, because it will fire up.

Any ideas?

Have you pulled the fuel line off to the carb? Sounds like it might have some trash or something in it.

after u check the gas line for trash i would drain all the gas out and put fresh gas back in it.

Thanks guys.

I tried it this morning, and it fired right up. The only thing I can figure is that it was flooded, but not sure why it would fire up, then stall right away.

Anyway......all is good.

the float needle in the carb mite have been stuck.
