Does anyone have a recommendation(s) regarding a ratcheting cargo bar that could be used in a Polaris Ranger XP1000 bed. It should be less than 30" before being expanded. Thanks for any sources or recommendations. All I find are bars that are 40 minimum in length.
I have never seen any short ones, probably not enough uses for them to make one.
But it shouldn't be too hard to take one like this cargo bar and drill out the rivet holding the end bracket, cut down to size, and reattach end bracket.
that would work for sure, however, i've got a shovel and axe hung on the side which blocks the slot. otherwise, that's the way to go. i think i'll just use ratchet straps to hold five gallon water containers up against the front wall of the bed. that should also do the trick. thanks for your suggestion.
Looks like it'd stop a chainsaw from sliding back to me. It's a start.
