My Ranger had a junk hitch on it when I got it and I need a better tow recovery point back there. So I cut all the crap off of the back and welded some receiver stock to some 1/4 inch plate and bolted a tow hook.





I cut the gussets off of the frame so I could get a flat fit for the plate.

It turned out great.


Now I need to work on the front, but I found a trailer to build now so that will be later. O0

Hey,

That is great and I always enjoy seing members fab up their own products or make original better. I moved this topic here cause it was a better fit. If you would like I can put it in Advanced Fabrication.

Where ever you want it is fine with me, I just thought I was getting senile and had posted it twice :uglystupid2: :2funny:

Nice job!! gonna just use a regular hitch in my reciever, and put a good size clevis in it when I need a Recovery hook.....hope I never need it!!!! ;D
