I was trying to help a family in. Trouble in the water and my ranger fell in a hole that put water up to and a little above my steering wheel.
The engine died as I was trying to get out. Another good person stopped and pulled us both out in about a 15 minute ordeal.
He seemed to know about utvs and pulled my plugs and turned engine over and said there was no water in engine..just gas came out. Towed it and I changed the oil twice..there was water in the oil. Drained the gas and refilled..changed the oil filter and air filter. The engine astounds fine but there is a noise on the rt front of ranger ..sounds like under the air intake in front that sounds like a washer dryer..tumbling sorta of? Does anyone have any ideals? Should I be doing anything else? The engine sounds fine and I drove it astound a little and the only problem is the tumbling sound?
Any help would be appreciated ..I hate to pay the dealers high prices but I will if I am going to damage my machine:confused:

Change the front and rear differential fluids too. I assume all of the water
got out of the muffler since it is running.
