Is that the right oil weight for the XP1000?
I thought it was 5w-50, no?

No I don't. - for what I have invested into my machine, I prefer to use the genuine manufacturer recommended fluids. IMHO over the life of the machine there is little cost savings vs risk changing fluids every 100 hours / 1000 miles using alternate brand fluids instead of OEM recommendations. Is anyone using this instead of the Polaris recommended oil?
No its Not, 5W-50 is correct. Is that the right oil weight for the XP1000?

I agree. I will stick with the Polaris brand, for what little extra it may cost. I also change the oil & filter myself saving me moneyNo I don't. - for what I have invested into my machine, I prefer to use the genuine manufacturer recommended fluids. There are varying opinions. Tesla previously labeled the last gen packs "million mile" packs. The most pessimist forecasts say 20% performance loss in 10 years. The batteries are very recyclable, however. And the scale makes it financially appealing to do so for 1st and 3rd parties. Given the investment being made into battery lifecycle, in 10 years the pack will cost way less that it does now. Or roughly what you would spend on Amsoil over 10 yearsSmall tools, no problem. How long are the batteries supposed to last and what is the cost for replacement on the Tesla?
Say what?OStraight up. I would convert tractor and riding mower if I could. They just don't make an equivalent yet.
