I mostly ride on the road now and I run a 27x10x14 tire size. Going Trail riding in October and was wondering what a good tire size would be? I have a Crew 1000 Premium with SOHC engine. I don't want to go so big as to take away from the power of my machine or scrub. Any ideas?

Super atv. Warrior xt is an amazing all around tire. I run it in a 34 but they have 28,30, and 32s as well. Does great on the rocks trails, and so so in the mud

I wonder if I could get away with a 29inch wheel and tire?

The only thing that would help there would be a bigger rim and lower profile tire with less side wall. It would be stiffer n not bounce around as much

I just added the Pro Armor Dual Threat tires on my 21' Ranger 1000 Premium for trails and road. Great tires but expensive thru Polaris.

I can't say enough good about the BF Goodrich KM3. I've been running these for right at a year now. I do a lot of road riding and some trail riding now and then a well. They dig in really well when you need them and they run good and quiet on the road. I cross rotate them every 1000 miles.
I'm running 28 inch on a 2019 northstar crew stock suspension.

Are you running the standard or sticky compound in the xt? How are they holding up over time?

Standard compound. The sticky is for rock climbing. Mine are holding up extremely well. We have put 150hrs on them and they still look brand new
