Any body think these gears are usable. I tore them out of my tranny that was slipping in every gear to a point that it would just make the worst grinding noise and not really move at all.

Have already ordered new bearings and seals. And a new tensioner. Kinda wondering if my silent chain is needing replaced to. It has 930 hrs and 6k miles. Wondering if I should go ahead and replace it.

Any advise would be great. IMG_2961.jpg IMG_2962.jpg IMG_2960.jpg IMG_2959.jpg IMG_2958.jpg

If there’s noticeable wear I’d replace them. Not worth having to buy a new case or doing the labor. I believe those gears are pretty cheap.

Them gears weren't slipping that's for certain... Little bit of wear on the engagement teeth but nothing drastic... Had any bearings failed in the box?

What was driveshaft splines like? Or the splines in the propshaft yoke?

The engagement dog shows considerable wear. It's not supposed to be rounded over as it shows in the last picture. Replace it and any gear that it engages.
