Unplugged Plug

Can anyone tell me what this plug does? Just got a 2021 Ranger Xp1000 and it is unplugged. The male end is right behind the fuse box. Thanks

Diagnostic port. Keep it plugged into that mating end to keep dirt and moisture out.
