Since I got a good deal on my 2019 XP900, I am spending the rest of my budget on some needed upgrades. First off, I ordered a windshield and roof from Kolpin (I get a 30% discount so I used them). I got the glass windshield, I only save $100 if I went to poly carb. Also ordered some genuine Polaris NOS nerf bars. My Ranger is not lifted so I wanted some side protection.
Picked up a cover (my garage is too small so it sits outside under tarps) and a front hitch. I debated on getting a winch and am waiting until later in the year. I really only use it when hunting and over the last 14 years have never needed a winch (although my 650 Brute Force had a lift kit and mud tires). My Brute Force winch ended up going bad due to being in mud and water due to the mounting location so I may get a hitch mount for a winch and only mount as needed.
Although mine has very little miles, I am going to change out all the fluids (engine, front and rear diff) including the coolant. Went ahead and got Polaris fluids so in the next few weeks I will be doing some maintenance. I also plan to grease the wheel bearings and grease all the areas with zerk fittings.
I bought the Dynajet programmer mainly to lower the temp where the fan comes on. It is nice being able to get live readings while running. Maybe in a year or two I will install a duracluth and add a tune from Giloman. Right now I am just going to enjoy it as is. It’s a blast to drive, wish I had more time to use it.
