This is the title of an email I got this morning. Polaris is such a tease. I ordered on Dec 1, a few minutes after you could order one. And still didn't get an ultimate. Just a measly premium ;)
My account on polaris.com still shows the very first step:

Order Confirmed
Your order has been received.

But hey, maybe I will get it before my last will and testament is read.

Awesome! Please post pictures when you get your hands on it!
Just got an email today from polaris. Your Kinetic wont be delivered this summer as originally scheduled.....expect another update in 60 days.

Same. Good gravy!
Been on this planet quite a while now. Never experienced not being able to spend money.
The last time I bought a Ranger (2016), I called the local dealer and asked what they had in stock on my way home from work. The exact machine in the color I wanted was sitting on the floor. Did a small detour, paid for it, went back the next day and picked it up. Can we get back to those days please?

Could not agree more. You put that more pc than I would have. I'm worn out on this nonsence....maybe next year
Sorry for the PC.
I am natively not PC. But to survive broadly in Internet town, it's more productive to read the landscape and accommodate than to be yourself, despite anonymity.
Yea, we ordered ours the second they were available. We have confirmation for the purchase, but no update on arrival. As we are in Hawaii, in a different time zone, we were unable to get the Ultimate and unfortunately were only allocated an Ultimate- we wanted just the Premium (but they were already sold out). Titos (or others), if there was a way to swap at the allocation or dealer level, we would be VERY happy to get the Premium and pass on the Ultimate. We have a lot of rain out here on the wet side of the Big Island and are concerned about the display getting wet and dirty as we are using this as a dirty working farm vehicle with outdoor parking. Anyway, a thought that should be possible if any interest. It would be great to know any deliver updates when anyone hears of the shipping. Thx!!

Had to do a double-take at first, hehe

A few comments.
  • I am not Mr. Know Everything about Rangers, but I have never seen anyone complain about the screens going out from liquids. And they have been putting screens in Rangers since 2016 or so.
  • I unwilling to risk tinkering with my order in any way. And I can't imagine there is a mechanism to swap orders.
  • I have become OK with what I ended up with. Saving 250 lbs should be nice for performance and 80% of my driving is around my property and neighborhood. Like a mile or so max one-way. So I don't need the range.
  • If the trend continues, rigs with fancy screens get delayed even more. And I don't want to wait any more.

There should be a new update coming this week on our new Kinetic's. (its been 60 days) My guess....another update in 60 more days
They did a small media event a few weeks ago. A few youtube channels did their thing. Was nice to see it in operation. Looks zippy! Surprisingly similar to 2023 XP 1000. Which is fine by me. I love aftermarket goodies and not needing to wait for them to be designed is a win.

Zippy example:

Either the driver is a bit sketch or he was in 1/2wd and not getting traction. Looks like driver induced oscillation. But the acceleration is pretty impressive.

You nailed it. Got one 2 hours ago:

RANGER XP Kinetic gives you the power to do more, and we know you are excited to get behind the wheel of your vehicle.

In June, we sent an email communication informing you that shipment timing is delayed due to production challenges from the ongoing global semiconductor supply constraints. As a follow-up to our previous communication, we are reaching out to let you know we are expecting to start shipments by early 2023.

We will continue to keep you updated on shipment timing as we get closer to your vehicle delivery. When your vehicle is ready for pickup, your dealer will contact you. If you have additional questions, you may contact your dealer or call us at 1‑800‑POLARIS.

Thank you for being one of the first to order the all‑electric RANGER XP Kinetic. You will be receiving a limited‑edition gift within the coming days to commemorate the occasion. We appreciate your commitment to Polaris.

Waiting over a year for something it just so much WTF, I don't even know how to process it.

Our "limited edition gift" showed up via USPS yesterday! It was a useless cheap as# piece of sh#t framed dimension diagram of the Kinetic. WTF are they trying to pis# us off even more??
Dang. Bad luck. I got a BJ and a gift certificate for Wally World!

I am keeping my order and will flip it when I get it. Went a different direction and just picked up a clown car. Going to put huge Polaris stickers on it.

Radio silence from polaris. No update, no stupid gift, no apology…lame. Could also be our dealer (on a different island and not responsive sales person)…. But hard to know without my Ouija board!
Austria has islands?
I'll admit that I am not a vexillologist.
It might also be that "The Fora platform includes forum software by XenForo" thinks you are from Austria.
GeoIP is not terribly reliable.

Whatever the case, Polaris can lick me. Sold all my PII as this is a very bad sign.
Even if I took delivery on 1/1, that would be 13 months. And I can't really expect it won't be delayed again.

Did you get an email from Polaris? If not, your dealer probably didn't actually order you one ;)

Arggg. Traveling in Austria now. No email from polaris.. will be calling the manager when i get back. Thx for your update.😩
Has anyone had any updates. Next week will be the year marker of when most of us ordered the Kinetic. I’d love to know if I can expect it in the next 3 or 4 months. Can’t seem to find anything online and Polaris are very tight lipped about it
nothing here, but we finally got our lame "commemorative blueprint".... clearly it took a Polaris shipment across the ocean to get the blueprint to Hawaii....
The framed blueprint thing is crap. I do appreciate the thought, however.

Polaris “partnered” with Zero Motorcycles for the electrification bits. Battery, motor, motor controller, charger, etc. This arrangement is almost certainly the source of the delay. I suspect, due to a disrupted supply chain, Zero served themselves before Polaris. Almost every company with any technology in their products are struggling with the “build or buy” decision. That is, develop the capability in house with your own employees (good, cheap, but slow) or buy it (good, fast, but not cheap). Polaris miscalculated and ended up with not fast, not cheap, and due to so much delay in a super rapidly advancing tech space, maybe not even good.

I am in tech. "Buy" is what execs are increasingly choosing. And it’s sad. Especially considering how often they get F’d by this decision. Polaris' new electrification VP, Michael Donoughe, should probably be fired.

More shifty comms from Polaris.

In August, we sent a communication informing you that shipments were expected to start by early 2023. We are reaching out to reaffirm that timeline. We are expecting to start shipments spring 2023 and will communicate further details in January.
It is generally considered that Spring starts March 20th and ends June 21st. Not sure I'd call that "early" as the 3rd week of June is pretty much halfway through the year. But I doubt many believed them anyways.
