So I tried a after market carburetor to see if it would fix the problem with the way it ran. We'll long story short, the carb was junk. But upon removing the carburetor we found the boot from the air filter to the carb had holes all in it. I've ordered a replacement boot, but to see if there was any change we wrapped the old boot to try it out. It starts ok and idles but is still misfiring, with some research an talking to others. I'm sure with the bad hose numerous amounts of dust was sucked into the engine. Could need valves adjusted and more. Lots to read here let me know what you think.
